YELLOWSTONE is a truly world-class Texas Longhorn bull. At 94+" tip to tip, he is not only the longest-horned bull in Australia, but also the only Australian bull inducted into the prestigious USA Gallery of Horns "Club 90" His sire, Cut'n Dried, is widely regarded as one of the finest Texas Longhorn bulls in the world, boasting horns in excess of 100 inches.
Yellowstone's dam, Laramie, is currently measuring in the mid-90s, with her dam Milly is right on the 100-inch mark. Anyone familiar with Texas Longhorn genetics will recognise Milly's daughter Madonna as the longest-horned cow for her age in the world. Simply put, Yellowstone carries more elite horn genetics than most bulls anywhere..
Beyond the numbers, Yellowstone has a wonderfully laid-back temperament and is a pleasure to handle. He carries tremendous presence, great structure and his colour is nothing short of outstanding.
Yellowstone is offered for sale for two reasons only: (1) our continued heavy investment in AI means we no longer require his services, and (2) we want to see him fully utilised while he remains firmly in his prime. He has been DNA profiled and semen tested with exceptional results.

While states may have differing protocols, all the cattle are certified tick free and cleared to travel to most areas. Contact vendors or agent for more information.
Texas Longhorns have an almost perfect and typically extremely gentle temperament. They do have long horns for sure but they are very respectful cattle.
No they aren't but they do grow fairly quickly. Texas Longhorns are very easy calvers. The majority of Longhorn breeders have NEVER had a heifer or a cow have any calving issues.
Texas Longhorns are really easy to work and unless you have a large number of Longhorns, you probably don't need anything special. They are very hardy and very rarely need to be treated by a vet. Get in touch with any of the team if you need extra information.
